Where events live

WABA hosts and curates community events — networking nights, workshops, conferences, and more. Some are in person, some are virtual, many are free.

Web: The Events page highlights upcoming events under "What's coming up." Click Browse all events (or View all) to reach the full list with search and filters under Community → Events. View my bookings jumps to the events you've RSVP'd to.

Mobile: Events has its own tab at the bottom of the app.

Searching and filtering on the web

  1. Open Community → Events.
  2. Use the toggle at the top to switch between all, upcoming, and past events.
  3. Type in the search bar — it matches titles, descriptions, categories, locations, and even speakers.
  4. Click Show Advanced Filters for dropdowns: category, state, city, venue, and price (options reflect real prices like "Free" or "$25").
  5. Sort results by Date, Title, Location, Most Popular, or Newest.

Hit Clear All Filters to start fresh. Each result has View details to open the event.

Browsing on mobile

The mobile Events tab keeps it simple with three views:

  • Today — what's happening right now (a green dot appears when today has events).
  • Upcoming — everything ahead.
  • Past — what you missed.

If you've set your location, events near your city and state float to the top with a "Near you" note. The My Bookings button in the header shows everything you've registered for.

Mobile: There's no search or category filter on the events tab — for deep filtering, use the web, or search events from the app's global search.

Reading an event page

Tap any event for the details: date and time, location, price, how many people are attending, the full description, the Schedule (run of show), and Speakers. Virtual events show a join link. Mobile adds Get Directions, an add-to-calendar button, a share option, and a flag button to report an event that looks wrong.
