Booking Events & My Bookings
RSVP to free events, buy tickets to paid ones, see your bookings on web or mobile, and confirm your attendance afterward.
RSVPing to a free event
Requires: Sign in before you RSVP — guests are prompted to sign in first.
On the web:
- Find the event under Community → Events and click RSVP.
- In the form, enter your Number of Guests (people you're bringing, not counting yourself) and any Additional Notes for the organizer.
- Click Confirm RSVP — you'll see "Successfully RSVP'd for this event!" and the button changes to Cancel RSVP.
On mobile:
- Open the event and tap Register Now at the bottom.
- Once registered you'll see a "You're registered!" banner. If an event is full or closed, the button reads Sold Out or Registration Closed.
Buying a ticket to a paid event
Web: Paid events show a Buy ticket button with the price on the event's page. Pick a quantity (up to 10), then click through to secure checkout powered by Stripe. After payment you're brought back with a "Ticket purchased — see you there!" confirmation.
Note: Ticket purchase is web-only right now — if you spot a paid event in the mobile app, open it on the web to buy. Some events instead link out to an external registration page via Register for Event, and some show Registration Coming Soon until booking opens.
Seeing your bookings
Web: Open My event bookings — from the Events page, click View my bookings. Your confirmed RSVPs are listed under upcoming and past tabs, each with View event.
Mobile: Tap My Bookings in the Events tab header. You'll see Upcoming and Past tabs with everything you've registered for.
To cancel, open the event and tap Cancel Registration (mobile) or Cancel RSVP (web). You can re-register later if plans change back.
After the event
Once an event you RSVP'd to has passed, its page asks you to confirm whether you went — choose I attended or Did not attend. Confirming attendance earns you rewards points — the community's thank-you for showing up.
Note: There are no QR codes or ticket scans — attendance is on the honor system.
