Saving Favorite Businesses
Tap the heart to build your personal list of go-to Black-owned businesses, synced between web and mobile.
How favorites work
See a business you love — or want to try? Tap the heart on its business page. On the web it fills in and you'll see "Business added to favorites"; in the app the pill switches from Save to Saved. Your favorites sync across web and mobile, so a business you save on your phone is waiting on your laptop too.
Requires: Favorites need an account. Signed out on the web, the heart takes you to sign up and then back to the business; in the app you're asked to sign in.
Finding your saved businesses
Web: Open the Favorites page to see Your Favorites — a grid of everything you've saved, newest first, with each card showing the category, location, and rating, plus View Profile and Visit to jump back to the business.
Mobile: Open the My Account tab and tap Favorites under Quick Access.
If your list is empty you'll see a nudge to browse the directory. If the list can't load, use Retry (web) or Try Again (mobile) rather than assuming it's empty.
Removing a favorite
Tap the filled heart again on the business page — on the web you can also do it right from your favorites grid. On the web you'll see "Business removed from favorites". You can re-add it any time.
Tips
- Favorite businesses you want to try, not just ones you already know — your list becomes a personal to-visit queue.
- The heart on a web business page shows how many people have favorited that business — a handy popularity signal.
- Favorites are private to you; other members can't see your list.
