Browsing Business Categories
See every business category at a glance, with counts, and jump straight into a category search — optionally near a ZIP or city.
The categories page
The Business categories page lays out the whole directory by type. Each of the 22 main categories has its own card with a colour, an icon, a short description, and how many businesses are in it.
Web: Open it from the main menu under Directory → Categories.
Drilling into subcategories
Each card shows its first few subcategories as chips, each with its own count, followed by a "more in…" link when there are others. Click the main category or any subcategory chip to open the Directory already filtered to it.
Searching a category near you
The search box at the top ("Category, plus a ZIP or detail…") understands a category plus a place or detail — try "barber 30303" or "vegan soul food in Atlanta, GA".
- Type a category, optionally followed by a ZIP, city, or extra detail.
- When WABA recognizes the category, a button offers to search it with your extra words and place — click it to open the matching Directory results.
- If nothing matches, you'll see "No category matches…" with a link to search all businesses instead.
