Locked Out? Requesting Account Recovery
If two-factor verification is keeping you out of your account, ask an administrator to review your account for recovery.

When to use it
Account recovery is for members who can't get past two-factor verification — for example, you can no longer open the email account your codes go to, or your account is locked. If you simply forgot your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page instead.
Sending a recovery request
- Open the account recovery page on the web. When sign-in asks for your verification code, click Can't get your code? Recover your account, or go straight to /auth/account-recovery. You don't need to be signed in.
- Enter your Account email.
- Under What happened?, choose the option closest to your situation.
- Give Another way to reach you — an alternate email or phone number.
- Under Tell us what happened, explain in your own words (at least 20 characters).
- Click Submit recovery request.
Changed your mind? Back to sign in returns you to the sign-in page.
What happens next
You'll see: "If that address matches an account, an administrator will review your request and contact you. Reviews are manual, so allow a business day." The message is the same whether or not an account exists, to protect members' privacy.
